Our Social Accounts report for 2025-2026 is now available. It shows how we’ve improved the lives of our customers and communities through any services or activities we offer; this is measured as social value.
This past financial year, our social value measured in at a whopping £64,792,260.
Whether it’s through community-led wellbeing activities, expert financial advice or referring you to our trusted partners for support when you need it the most – our Social Accounts goes beyond the statistics and tells the stories of our customers whose lives have been transformed.
Building more than just homes
As your landlord, we don’t just provide you with a home. We give you access to support and opportunities that help you live well. We listen to what our customers tell us they need to help us decide how we invest our resources to create positive social, economic and environmental impact across the communities we serve.
Providing you with a safe and secure home is just the start. Through working together with trusted partners, we’re able to bring opportunities closer to home and we’re proud to share how we’ve helped our customers this past year:
- £71,200 in savings made with help from the Pocket Power Initiative
- 1,116 supported with benefits advice and maximising their income
- 333 advised on managing rising energy costs, including providing more energy-efficient appliances
- 295 new jobs were secured through our employment support
- Our health and wellbeing projects in the community were used by 788 people
- Helped 144 customers experiencing domestic abuse and 395 who reported anti-social behaviour
- Gave 21 young people work experience with us to kickstart their early career journey
- Attended all secondary schools in Knowsley to deliver 1,317 mock interviews and career advice sessions to Year 11 students
- Provided £226,000 in loans and £32,610 in grants to social enterprises across the Liverpool City Region that continue to give access to services that improve health and wellbeing.
Keeping our investments local
One of the things we’re most proud of is the impact of the Livv in Your Community scheme, because who better to provide new opportunities for our customers, than local people themselves? Our funding pot gave voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations the opportunity to claim a grant to support their cause and create welcoming spaces that bring people together.
14 organisations were awarded a grant, providing everything from mental health support, youth groups, debt advice and even confidence-building comedy lessons! As a result, 1,224 of our customers benefited from strengthening their connection to the community and reducing feelings of isolation. Some were given advice, others wellbeing support, and many learnt new skills.
“Supporting customers to build brighter, more secure futures in safe and affordable homes is at the core of what we do, but our impact goes beyond individual households: we’re helping local communities to flourish and reducing pressure on health, social care and emergency services”.
These numbers are just the tip of the iceberg; you can hear real-life stories from our customers in our full report.
