Local communities keep responding to the COVID-19 crisis with kindness, becoming a vital service to vulnerable people.
Smaller, local charities have always made a massive impact in our communities but are sometimes overlooked in favour of larger national organisations. Our People Fund was set up to give a helping hand to these local groups who need donations to continue their great work.
We’re delighted to be able to announce the latest funding recipients nominated by our staff and share the stories of these lockdown heroes:
Caring Connections specialises in the provision of personalised care and support to vulnerable residents, aiming to improve levels of independence, reduce social isolation and improve overall quality of life. They also aim to relieve stress experienced by carers of all ages who have caring responsibilities.
