During the run up to Christmas around 25 of our employees came together to help out at Radio City’s Cash for Kids’ annual Christmas appeal. The charity aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the community who are affected by illness, poverty, neglect or have additional needs.

The day at the Mission Christmas appeal warehouse involved helping to arrange and pack toys and gifts in order to ensure that children of all ages across the Merseyside region don’t go without and wake up to a present on Christmas morning.

As well as spreading some Christmas spirit from the warehouse, a number of our volunteers helped to unload vehicles full of amazing donations and also deliver gifts to families who need a little helping hand.

Cash for Kids commit that at least 80p from every £1 they receive goes back into the local community and every gift donated and every cash amount pledged goes straight back to local communities to ensure that help is given to those who need it most.

We are so proud of all our employees at Livv who have generously donated their time to help out with this incredible cause.

“The children receiving these gifts have had to deal with some really difficult challenges over the past 18 months. For us, the least we could do was to try and spread some Christmas cheer and help Cash For Kids achieve their mission.

“I would encourage everyone, if you are able to do so, to consider volunteering for or donating to this great cause in future. The past two years have been extremely tough for these families and charities like Cash For Kids need our help now more than ever.

I want to thank Livv Housing Group for partnering with Mission Christmas this year. Livv have been extremely hands on, they have volunteered regularly to collect and sort through our donations and worked with us to make sure we can fulfil each application that we have received.

People in our community have always been so amazingly generous when it comes to Mission Christmas and we are so thankful for their support. We want to make sure that even more young people can be given some Christmas cheer this year.”

Thank you to all our staff who took part in this wonderful initiative. As a result of all our hard work lots of children will be waking up with a smile on their face this Christmas.
