Home isn’t just a place to live – it’s where people build their lives, feel safe and connect with their community. Everyone deserves access to a quality, affordable home, and we know there are still lots of people in our communities, waiting to find one. That’s why we’re committed to increasing the supply of homes across the Liverpool City Region.
Last year, we built 251 new homes in Prescot, Whiston and Kirkby, welcoming people and families into modern homes that meet their needs and are fit for the future.
We’re building the homes our customers and communities need, redeveloping forgotten sites to create places where people can grow and thrive, and opening the door to homeownership for people across our communities.
We are not slowing down; we’re in the process of building 178 new homes and have contracts already in place to build even more. We’re working with key partners such as Homes England and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, to unlock vital funding to support our development programme.
With new homes come new opportunities, as well providing homes for affordable rent, we support people to own their home, through Rent to Buy and Shared Ownership options too. 41 customers took a step onto the property ladder thanks to Shared Ownership.

Dreams of your own home could come true with Shared Ownership: an affordable way to get onto the property ladder. You’ll buy a share of the property you want, between 10% and 75%, and pay a reduced rent fee for the rest of the share that is owned by Livv. As you’ll only own part of the house, your mortgage and deposit will be much smaller than if you were to buy a house outright. Available to first time buyers only – this offer is great for people struggling to take that first step onto the property ladder.
