We’re looking for a new Independent Member to join our Customer Services Committee to help us shape our services.
We’re looking for new voices, new ideas and new insights as we open up recruitment for an independent committee member to join our Customer Services Committee.
We provide 13,000 homes in Knowsley and across the wider Liverpool City Region, but we’re more than a housing business – offering apprenticeships, training and many health and local projects which add lots of community value. We’re halfway through our three-year corporate plan – ‘Doing More’ – where we’re working towards ambitious goals for improving our homes, our colleague offering and our customers’ lives.
We’re always looking to improve the customer experience, working hard to address any concerns and drive positive change both in our business and in the communities we serve. We’re looking for the right person for our Customer Services Committee who will offer honest opinions and views to support us in doing this.
The Customer Services Committee provides a much-needed view in helping customers and keeping them in safe, secure, and well-maintained homes. Having people who are our customers, or with experience of social housing on this Committee means we’re able to make the customer voice our central focus.
If you become a Committee member, you’ll be using your skills and experience to help us to make the right decisions; improving customers’ lives and the communities where they live. In return we’ll pay you for your time, as well as offer you some fantastic opportunities for learning and training.
We’re an inclusive organisation with a culture where colleagues can bring their whole selves to work. Applications are welcomed from candidates from all sections of the community, with no barriers to inclusion.
Think this opportunity could be for you?
We’re looking for someone who has firsthand experience of social housing services and is keen to get involved. You’ll be able to apply if:
- you’re a customer of Livv Housing Group, another Housing Association or have lived in social housing before
- you have time to commit to attending meetings and providing feedback.
The successful committee member will be paid £4,500 per year plus any relevant expenses.
