In the UK, over a third of people have been affected by antisocial behaviour at some point.

From 18-24 November, we’re supporting Antisocial Behaviour Awareness Week, teaming up with national campaigners Resolve to help spread the message.

This year’s theme is ‘Making Communities Safer’ and it’s our priority to make sure that you feel safe and secure in your home and your neighbourhood.

What do we currently do?

You’ll often see our Community Safety Team out and about on their ‘Walkabout Wednesday’ initiative, where they work closely with members of the Knowsley Community Safety Partnership, including Merseyside Police, and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, to look at potential ASB issues and hotspots. They speak regularly with people in our communities to prevent, identify, and try and solve antisocial behaviour. Our Community Safety Team also offer advice and signposting to ensure you can access the right support.

What is antisocial behaviour?

There are lots of different types of antisocial behaviour. For example,

  • Loud noises
  • Vandalism
  • Drug use/dealing
