Why’s Livv proposing these changes?
Knowsley Heights was built in the 1960s and despite investing over £70 million into the apartment blocks, a significant, continued financial investment will be needed to sustain standards and modernise the building into the future.
In comparison, we believe investing in our proposal will open the door to a number of benefits that the current Knowsley Heights simply can’t offer; such as improved energy savings and reduced bills for future residents and homes that meet the needs of people who live and work in the Borough.
After carefully reviewing the options available, we believe that the best way forward is to try something new.
Currently, we don’t know what the future holds for the site, but what we do know is that our proposals are built on what our communities want and need.
