Tom joined us in January 2023 as part of our Graduate Programme. Over the past two years, he gained invaluable experience across Customer Insight, Property and Safety, Health and Environment, equipping him with the skills and knowledge to step into his new role.

As Net Zero Carbon Officer, Tom will analyse data and research innovative solutions to support the delivery of our net zero carbon strategy – as we continue to work towards net zero by 2050.

Reflecting on his journey, Tom said: “I really enjoyed my time on the graduate programme. It gave me the chance to work with different teams, gain a broad understanding of the business and the sector, and access opportunities I never imagined. When I joined Livv, I was unsure about what I wanted to do, but thanks to the support, training and mentorship I’ve received, it turned out to be the best decision I’ve made.

“With net zero high on the social housing agenda, I’ve developed a strong interest in the topic and am excited to contribute to Livv’s efforts in achieving this goal while building my career in this field. As a business, we’re working to achieve EPC C on all our customers’ homes ahead of the government’s target. It’s great to be part of such a forward-thinking organisation, and I’m eager to take on more responsibility and continue my learning journey here.”

Our Graduate Programme, delivered in partnership with The GEM Programme, is a two-year initiative that provides talented graduates with hands-on experience in key business areas. Alongside his practical training, Tom also achieved his Level 4 Chartered Institute of Housing qualification, further strengthening his expertise in the housing sector.

We’re extremely proud to see Tom secure a permanent role with us. His hard work, adaptability, and enthusiasm for learning and embracing every opportunity make him a true credit to our graduate programme. As our new Net Zero Carbon Officer, he will be a valuable asset to both his team and the wider business, and he is setting an inspiring example for our current and future graduates. We look forward to supporting his continued growth.
